Antique Jewelry Show Part 2

There was so much to see at the Antique Jewelry Show, I could have spent days there! All the exquisite jewels displayed at the show looked like the adornments worn by the much admired Downton Abbey characters, the graceful ladies of the Crawley family. It's amazing how well preserved these jewels are, considering that some of them are close to 100 years old! What do we own now that will last this long? In our day and age, everything is disposable. The beauty and longevity of antique jewelry is a testament to the incredibly skilled artisans who created it by hand. I love knowing that these jewels have seen the world so different from today and that most likely, they will outlive me as well.

Rare Finds - Antique Opal Rings

There's something magical about the glow of opals.
Here are some Antique Opal Rings to feast your eyes on.

What makes this Ring unique is that the opal cabochon is emerald cut.
The natural opal is set into a two-tone
14K gold setting and accented by diamonds.
I have a feeling that the pictures may not be doing
justice to this ring and that it's much lovelier in reality.

Made of 18K white gold and accented by ten diamonds.

I love the look of vibrant blue Sapphires
